Field Springs Salad with Honey Pecans & Honey Dressing

Honey Dressing
  • 1/4tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 2/3cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
  • 2tbsp Raw Honey
  • 1/3cup White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 package Spring Mix Salad Greens
  • 1 cup Sliced Strawberries
  • 1/3cup Sliced Red Onion
  • 1/2cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 4slices Cooked Bacon – Crumbled(optional)
  • 1/4cup Crumbled Goat Cheese
Honey Pecans
  • 1cup Pecan Pieces
  • 1/4cup Raw Honey
  • 1tbsp Cooking spray or Butter
  • 1tbsp Sugar
  • 1tsp Sea Salt
Honey Dressing
  1. Mix together dry ingredients with the vinegar, mustard and honey.
  2. Slowly whisk in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil until smooth.
  1. Toss all the ingredients together. Serve as a side or add grilled chicken for a delicious main course. Serve with honey dressing.
Honey Pecans
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray the paper with cooking spray or grease sheet with a light coat of butter.
  3. Mix Pecans and honey and spread pecans in a single layer on parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle dry ingredients on the pecans.
  5. Cook for 8 minutes and then stir pecans (flip over). Cook for the remaining 7 minutes.
